Marriage myths
The wedding day is one of the most important days in the life of every person. Though, this day is a day of greater importance for women than for men. No single boy dreams about the wedding and beautiful black suit he will dress on at his wedding day. Though, every girl dreams about it from the very childhood and till that same wedding day. Women are crazy about the wedding and wedding stuff. Such importance of the moment and the day is the reason for a number of myths to appear. In most cases those myths deal with cloths and behaviour during the days before wedding.
So, the most known and frightening wedding myth is a myth about wedding dress. People say that it is not allowed to dress up the same dress two times. They also say that it is wrong to get married wearing a dress someone had wore before. Though, there are a number of examples when the breaking of this rule cause no harm for family and they live happily till the day the death separates them. And there are also examples when the wedding-dress custom was observed though the marriage lasted no longer than a couple of years.
The bay-myth is a buoy for those whose marriage is fading away. Most people believe that once they face some serious problems in the relations with their love it is enough to start a family. Inmost cases that is a strictly women's myth. It is a woman who passionately believes that a baby will change something and make things better. Sure, it is possible though in most cases if a husband made a decision to leave there is nothing and no one who is able to stop him. Sure, he may stay because of the sense of duty but it will be a terrible life for both, or even for three of them.
One more myth is a myth about a mystical power of the stamped passport. Who knows who was that first one to state that stamped passport will make things better, but he was stupid enough to say so, and smart enough to assure others that he is right. The stamped passport is not provided with some supernatural ability to keep people together. There is no way for a woman or a man to keep a person with the stamped passport. If your wife or husband doesn't love you anymore he or she will leave no matter on the stamped passport. It is a love the only thing that keeps people together, and no other thing is able to do that.
The blend of romance and passion is the best base to found the marriage on. This is the belief common almost for all people. Though, it is a false belief. The passion will go in some time just like the romance and there is nothing will be left. The mutual understanding and respect – these are the thing people have to base their marriage on. These are the feelings that will help to settle any conflict and to solve any problem. In case if there is no mutual understanding there is no future for the couple and most likely they will separate in some time. Do not follow the myth, think mind what you do and say and try to realise the real value of the marriage and then you will live happily together.
